Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Murex Collateral Consultant to join the team supporting Murex platform for a leading global bank. The ideal candidate will have solid experience working on collateral lifecycle, margining processes, CSA agreements, and regulatory margining (SIMM) within the Murex ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and support the Collateral Management module in Murex
Manage the collateral workflow, including:

Margin calls generation
Agreement definitions (CSA, GMRA, ISDA)
Eligibility rules and thresholds
Substitution and dispute workflows

Work on both Initial Margin (IM) and Variation Margin (VM) processes
Integrate Murex collateral module with external systems
Define and implement collateral optimization, exposure monitoring, and reporting mechanisms
Collaborate with internal risk, operations, and front-office teams for issue resolution and enhancements
Perform impact analysis for changes in agreements, margin rules, or regulatory requirements
Support UAT, regression testing, and production deployment for collateral-related changes

Must-Have Skills:

5+ years of experience on Murex and 2+ years on Collateral
Strong hands-on experience in Murex Collateral Module configuration
Sounds understanding of capital markets domain & asset classes
In-depth understanding of margining processes, CSA/ISDA terms, and agreement setup
Experience with regulatory margining requirements: BCBS-IOSCO, SIMM, etc.
Familiarity with collateral instruments (cash, bonds, treasuries, etc.)
Ability to interpret and implement collateral eligibility rules and haircuts
Proficiency in Datamart reporting and MxML workflows for collateral
Working knowledge of Murex Workflows, UDFs, and trade attributes

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
Analytical thinker with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in Agile environments
Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus
