Are you looking for an opportunity to build an LLM based enterprise-grade, highly available, large scale, software solution? As an engineer, you'll develop scalable, flexible and widely-used services to manage trust on the Alexa Services. You'll work closely with senior and principal engineers, applied scientist, and security experts to develop robust solutions.

This is a hands-on position where you will get an opportunity to get involved at every level of the software development cycle, from designing and building rock-solid components to deploying and monitoring them in production, as well as mentoring other engineers. We are looking for a top software developer with a good track record of delivering, as well as strong communication, leadership and customer-focus skills. We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and talented software engineer who has experience building innovative applications that customers love. You will build new services and experiences from ground up, will be a technical leader and have impact tech design, architecture, and implementation of Alexa features.

In this role, you will take a pragmatic and iterative approach to building software: You will simplify and get things done while experimenting on rapid iterations on the new concepts. You will need to be a focused and thoughtful leader of your team who works effectively with external and internal partners.

Design and develop micro-services to create new core software services.
Build service architectures that have rock solid availability and performance.

About the team
We work on expanding Alexa's use case by creating features and core Alexa system functionality that allows Alexa to be use by business enterprises (as opposed to personal homes). You will be writing code to deliver these pieces of functionality.- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
