Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and Administer Storage Systems: Oversee Dell EMC storage systems such as PowerMax, VMAX, PMAX, Unity, and ECS.
Storage Provisioning and Monitoring: Perform day-to-day storage provisioning, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues.
Data Protection: Implement and manage storage replication, snapshots, and data protection strategies.
Collaboration: Work with backup, network, and server teams to ensure seamless infrastructure integration.
Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance and address potential issues or capacity limitations proactively.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of storage configurations, procedures, and support tasks.
Disaster Recovery: Support disaster recovery planning and testing.

Primary Skills

Dell EMC PowerMax/NetApp Administration
Dell EMC Isilon, ECS, Unity, PMAX Storage Administration
Cisco SAN switches administration
Knowledge of automation/scripting
ITIL process knowledge
Performance analysis, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning

Secondary Skills

Storage/SAN Migration
Additional knowledge in Cisco SAN switches administration
