Primary Skills

Design, code, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers: You will create efficient and optimized database queries to support application development and data manipulation.
Collaborate with application developers: Work closely with developers to integrate PL/SQL code into applications, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
Perform code reviews and provide feedback: Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards, improving the overall quality of the codebase.
Monitor and optimize database performance: Regularly assess database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
Develop and implement database backup, recovery, and security protocols: Ensure data integrity and security by establishing robust backup and recovery procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues: Address and resolve issues related to database systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Assist in data migration and data integration activities: Facilitate the transfer and integration of data across different systems and platforms.
Document technical specifications and design workflows: Maintain comprehensive documentation to support development and maintenance activities.

Secondary Skills

Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and PL/SQL programs
Strong understanding of database architecture and data modeling
Experience with performance tuning and database optimization techniques
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
