Job Description

We are from Tez team owning technology powering Quick Commerce experience globally, focussed on winning India business while making Amazon succeed across marketplaces. We are working on a grounds up initiatives for this fast growing space. We are building a completely brand new quick commerce experience using client side rendering frameworks based on ReactJS and powered by multiple backend services being developed grounds up. The new user experience spans across entire lifecycle of quick commerce shopping journey from discovery and traffic, storefront, ordering and delivery experience.
For this Greenfield initiative, you'll be working alongside a talented and collaborative team made of Sr. SDEs, Sr. FEEs, PEs and will be a great opportunity for learning, growing and building industry leading shopping experience from scratch..

Key job responsibilities
You solve difficult problems, applying appropriate technologies and best practices.
You work with your team to invent, design and build software that is stable and performant.
You are proficient in a broad range of design approaches and know when it is appropriate to use them (and when it is not). Your solutions are pragmatic.
You consider the legacy of the code you produce and write code that an FEE unfamiliar with the system can understand.
You limit the use of short-term workarounds. You do things with the proper level of complexity the first time (or at least minimize incidental complexity).
You create flexible software without over-engineering. You make appropriate trade-offs, re-use where possible, and are judicious about introducing dependencies.
You are efficient with resource usage (e.g., system hardware, database, memory/CPU, etc.)
You work on project ideas with customers, stakeholders, and peers

The team is made of multiple Sr. SDEs and are working on first time in Amazon initiatives which will scale beyond India and grocery. The team follows a flexible and collaborative work culture with ample mentoring and guidance from PEs. The team is suitable for passionate engineers who are equally interested in contributing to business and product roadmap.- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
