Job Description

Seller and Fulfillment tech org based out of Bangalore is looking for a Tech leader who will build a confidential suite of products from scratch through a team that they will hire and put in place. This is truly a ground floor opportunity where the leader, along with his team of ingenuous builders, will craft several new products of strategic importance to Amazon. We are seeking self-motivated, innovative and result-oriented tech leader to build and own software systems and products for this new initiative. You will partner with Principals and Senior Engineers to build a new Stack and several independent products on top of it. You will have an opportunity to dream up not just the technology architecture but also how businesses of various sizes and capabilities run their business.

This role requires deep technical expertise, excellent leadership principles and ability to hit the ground running. You will be responsible for solving complex problems and build front end and backend services that can scale to millions of requests and be deployed globally delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key job responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall development life cycle of the solution and manage complex projects with significant bottom line impact
- Work with product managers in developing a strategy and road map to provide compelling capabilities for the seller community on amazon.in marketplace that helps them succeed in their business goals.
- Work closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
- Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
- Project management - prioritization , planning of projects and features, Stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments
- Operational Excellence - monitoring & operation of production services
- Career management and development of direct reports- 8+ years of software development experience
- 4+ years of software development manager, managing teams of more than 5 software engineers experience
