Job Description

Launch new platform capabilities focused on driving data discovery, understanding, and management in Google's centralized data marketplace.
Understand user motivations, competitive trends, and unmet user needs in the space, and communicate and drive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders at all levels, including engineering, executives, and customers.
Collaborate with engineering and other Product Management teams to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements and prioritize initiatives within the Data Discovery roadmap.
Drive the product life-cycle for new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.
Partner with the Core Data UX team to design and instrument metrics for customer satisfaction, adoption, and task success.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience developing and scaling Search, Infrastructure, or Datamart products/technologies.
Experience supporting the ML development lifecycle.
Experience managing day-to-day technical and design discussions and decisions.
Experience collaborating with stakeholder groups and partners, with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
