Job Description

Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Develop and deploy full-stack features, leveraging YouTube and Google Commerce technologies to empower creators.
Utilize YouTube's infrastructure to build performant and reliable software.
Work with engineering teams in various geographic locations, fostering communication and collaboration across time zones.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience in iOS/Android app development.
Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable full-stack systems.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
Experience with YouTube or Google Commerce tech stack, and with business-to-consumer or e-commerce software.
Excellent coding skills with a focus on writing well-structured, testable, and efficient code.
