Job Description

Develop a detailed understanding of Creator needs in the field of YouTube Shopping. Collaborate with Product Managers to support business priorities with technical roadmap.
Guide the team in producing robust technical designs, translating product requirements into well-defined implementation plans that can be executed on.
Support the engineering team throughout the entire development cycle, actively participating in design, code and launch reviews, resulting in high-quality features. Conduct data analyses to evaluate the impact of implemented features on key business metrics, contribute to the definition and continuous monitoring of relevant performance indicators.
Foster collaborative relationships with other YouTube Shopping Team Leads and YouTube platform engineering teams to realize design with best practices within realistic timelines.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in B2C or e-commerce software.
Familiarity with C++ and TypeScript.
Familiarity with mobile application development.
Familiarity with YouTube or Google Commerce tech stack.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
