Job Description

Lead and manage the development and execution of key workstreams in the device agent platform strategy.
Build consensus, goals, and passion within the team and across collaborating teams.
Work within pressing timelines and product launches.
Collaborate effectively across various Product Areas (PAs), including DeepMind, Platforms and Devices, Research, and Search.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects, with 3 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
3 years of experience working in a well-structured organization.

As a Software Engineering Manager for Multi-Device Data Infrastructure’s Bengaluru hub, you will be a critical leader of our strategy to build a new engineering team focused on accelerating key segments of our device agent platform strategy. You will foster a healthy collaborative team environment, working with teams across Google on high priority initiatives, and building and powering new AI experiences in collaboration with Product Areas (PAs) across the company.
