We’re seeking someone to join our team as (Fullstack Developer) full stack developer to join the Sustainability Front Office Technology team. The individual will work as part of the global development team, which is spread across 4 MSIM sites. The individual will help the team design, develop a modern technology stack to power our digital platforms aimed unlocking efficiencies for our Investment Teams

Investment_Management

In the Investment Management division, we deliver active investment strategies across public and private markets and custom solutions to institutional and individual investors.

IMIT App Dev

IMIT provides industry-leading strategies and solutions to enable business growth and deliver best in class functions to Morgan Stanley’s Investment Management business.

Software Engineering

This is Director position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs

What you’ll do in the role:

1.Designing and developing modern and modular web applications using modern coding and testing standards.
2.Participating in our agile ceremonies and actively driving towards the team’s goals. Working as IC and drive any requirement end to end
3.Using modern software development practices and keep systems up to date with firm recommended tools and tech stacks.
4.Assist, guide, upskill and collaborate with other team members.
5.Working collaboratively with a global team of technologists.
6.Learning and leading with ideas and innovation.
7.Managing communication and partnering with our end users (Sustainability team) to design solutions.

What you’ll bring to the role:

At least 6 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
Solid understanding & experience on web application development
Solid understanding of data structures, code quality, system design
Solid experience writing unit, component and integration tests.
Solid experience working with relational database.
Strong computer science fundamentals.
Experience working with microservices and distributed systems.
Experience working with Python.
Experience working directly with end users and business team members.
Good understanding of financial markets and various financial instruments with a focus on Equities will be preferred.
Experience on C# will be a good to have.
Prior experience working with AI tools, LLM, fintech industry will be good to have.
