Job Description

Install, configure, and manage Veritas NetBackup servers and clients.
Design and implement backup and recovery strategies for enterprise systems.
Monitor daily backup operations, resolve failures, and optimize backup performance.
Manage backup policies, schedules, storage units, and media servers.
Perform data restores and disaster recovery tests.
Collaborate with systems, storage, and application teams to ensure data protection requirements are met.
Perform capacity planning and reporting for backup infrastructure.
Maintain and upgrade NetBackup environments, including patch management.
Document procedures and provide knowledge transfer to team members.
Support audits and compliance requirements for data retention.
