Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Developer with strong L3 support capabilities to join our dynamic team in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Java development and extensive experience in providing high-level support for complex banking applications. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing existing systems while ensuring their high performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support and Maintenance:

o Provide L3 support for banking applications, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in both production and non-production environments.

o Collaborate with development teams to analyze and optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

o Address critical incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.

· Design and Development:

o Develop, test, and deploy enhancements, bug fixes, and new features for Java applications.

o Ensure the stability and reliability of applications through careful design and thorough testing.

· Testing:

o Conduct comprehensive unit, integration, and system tests to validate the quality and functionality of code changes.

o Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to ensure consistent quality across all deployments.

· Technical Leadership:

o Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and support staff.

o Lead the investigation of complex issues, coordinating efforts across teams to deliver effective solutions.

· Collaboration:

o Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of software and support services.

o Engage with clients and business teams to understand their needs and provide tailored support solutions.

· Documentation:

o Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for system design, support procedures, incident resolutions, and development tasks.

Must have:

· L3 Application Support + Development experience preferably in 4-10 years range

· Good at coding, debugging & communication skills.

· Strong understanding on Java and OOPS concepts.

· Unix/ Linux

· SQL/database understanding.
