Oracle is a leader in enterprise cloud applications powering many of the world’s largest organizations, and we’re in the process of revolutionizing our application user experiences. The Oracle Application Platform Team enables this application transformation through the creation of our new Redwood user interface components and enterprise-scale backend services.

The Redwood UX Design System is Oracle’s modern UX standard for our SaaS applications. We are building full-stack Redwood components Redwood Reference Application (RRA) to help Fusion Applications and all other Oracle SaaS products quickly build/uptake and achieve these new UX designs. Redwood components require a set of highly scalable backend services. We are on a quest to provide the most productive platform for developers to build beautiful application experiences for our customers. We’re looking for dedicated engineers who will build the Redwood components and Spectra services.

Our Redwood Platform Components include FlexFields, CORS, Audit Setup & Reporting, Logging/Tracing, Universal Connection Pool, etc. and Services include Application Package Manager(APM), Notifications Service, Token Relay Service, Exetnsibility Management Service etc. Redwood Reference Application (RRA) is meant to demonstrate best practices when building a Redwood Application. The RRA showcases Redwood templates and components, the Business Object Service, Oracle Search, Attachments, Notifications, Flexfields and many other Redwood Platform features.

We need highly qualified engineers who will build the next generation of Redwood UI components/services that are architected to seamlessly work together. These Components/Services and RRA plays a crucial role in the successful implementation of Redwood UX design by SaaS teams. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a team of dedicated Java engineers who are ready to take on this challenge. What we are looking for from you:

Proven track record of Java development that they will use to develop demonstrative enterprise applications using our native Cloud Platform services. Passionate about building and testing groundbreaking enterprise applications with the understanding that Oracle Application tools and services must be rock solid from a testing, resiliency, and security perspective. Our customers are betting their businesses on our commitment to quality, performance, testing, and security. Teamwork is key here. We are looking for engineers who believe in the value of cross-team collaboration, building demo applications, and automation infrastructure for these projects.

Candidate Profile:

Mandatory: - 4+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in enterprise software development - Need to have hands-on experience in programming, preferably in Java and/or JavaScript - Experience in Typescript, Node.js and Selenium - Write comprehensive product tests - experience in JUnit/Java code testing framework - Excellent problem-solving skills
