Job Description

9+ years of experience in Managing environment, migrating the application and deployment using IBM MQ, WebSphere, IBM Data Power technologies
MQ migration from MQv8.* to MQv9.* of a core payment platform for a US based client.
Build new servers with RHELv8 and MQv9.
Integrated with multiple consumer applications. It was challenging as one of the integration was with IBM Mainfame MQ and we faced multiple issues with establishing the connectivity.
Modernize the application stack to connect with modern middleware platform like KAFKA, SOLACE etc.
Improved overall application resiliency by migrating to latest software stack (old servers on End-of-Life Support).
Websphere Application Server Migration :
WAS migration from 7.0 to 9.0 of core payment platform for a US based client.
Upgrade old legacy servers to Java 1.8/WAS 9.0
Migration benefits :
WAS9 servers supports TLSv1.2
Modernize the application stack to connect with modern middleware platform like KAFKA, SOLACE etc.
Disaster recovery solution.
overall application resiliency by migrating to latest software stack (old servers on End-of-Life Support).

IBM Datapower Development:
IBM Datapower Appliance Administration/Logging/Monitoring of production traffic,
Configuration of Web Service Proxies, XML firewalls, multi-protocol gateways
Configuration of AAA, Schema Validation, SSL in Data Power and Digital certificates, Certificate Revocation Lists (CRL), SSL)Web services (SOAP, WSDL and WS-Policy, Rest, WADL),Web services security (WS-Security, XML encryption and XML digital signature)
Responsibilities:
Requirements gathering, feasibility analysis and estimations with technical team for Datapower WSP object development whether routing and transformations is needed.
Designing the Technical Document, requirement document and FRS.
Collecting WSDL, XSD and related files needed to create the object in Datapower Xi50
Daily sync up with onsite on call to understand the Business Requirement on developing the Datapower WSP Objects.
Coding, Deploying, and testing the code in E1 environment by developing the WSP objects.
client side validation for mandatory fields in request and response validation in SOAP UI and checking whether requests reaching to target Environment (E1/E2/E3)

Worked on setting up security and configured some certificates for authentication and authorization purpose, deploying objects in Test Environment with help of RFCs.
Participated in SPRINT calls to provide updates on the progress of Datapower objects from development environment until in production and provide Production support for the consumer
