BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience with performance and scalability testing

Key job responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE), you will join the team of hands-on, pro-active, self-motivated and seasoned QAE professionals. In this role, you will:
- Expert knowledge of QA methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools
- Ability to understand technical specifications and analyse log files.
- Ability to author complex test plans and test cases.
- Experience in UI & back-end testing and automation.
- Works with Software Development Engineers and influences test architecture and engineering best practices.
- Successful in driving quality through process, instrumentation, requirements and testing. - Uses domain knowledge to drive test strategy.
- Provides quality and risk assessments for related areas and teams.
- Defines quality and operational metrics within a project.
- Has detailed knowledge of test strategy for product architecture(s). Makes quality trade-offs between short-term team and long-term business needs.
- Enthusiasm to dig into technical specifications and troubleshoot problems
- Strong organizational skills, ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize the results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings

A day in the life
As a QA Engineer, you will champion the quality of our features in the development pipeline using both automated and manual tests, reporting and verifying defects, and signing-off on features and release candidates. You will own the authoring and execution of test plans and test cases. You will have a significant impact on the quality and delivery speed of our software/business, and most importantly our customers. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA in order to ensure the features we deliver to our customers have a high level of quality. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to propose improvements to our existing processes and automated tools in order to improve the team’s speed, quality and efficiency.- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in manual testing

- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
