Job Description

Mandatory Skills: AWS Data Services, Azure Data Services, Spark, SQL, Data Lake

JD: We are looking for a Business Analyst cum Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to our Azure to AWS Data Migration Unified Data Platform project.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and document business requirements for data migration from Azure to AWS.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into data mapping and technical specifications.

Design and implement data migration strategies and processes.

Develop and execute testing plans to ensure data accuracy and integrity during migration.

Monitor and troubleshoot data migration activities to resolve any issues.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data migration processes and workflows.

Work closely with data engineers and other team members to ensure successful data migration.

Provide SIT and UAT support to obtain business sign-off on deliverables.

Experienced in comparing two set of reports (Azure based vs AWS based) and underlying data using scripts.

Experienced in conducting Demos on deliverables to Customer.

Required Skills:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

Experience with data testing methodologies and tools. Test plan and test cases plan and execution.

Experience with macros, excels and data large set of dataset comparison tools.

Experience in data domain and systems to navigate to prepare BRD/FRD & Data Mapping sheets and test reports.

Excellent communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Knowledge of data integration tools like Talend, Nucleus and best practices.

Proficiency in Azure and AWS data services (AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, and Glue) and migration tools.

Ability to document and present findings and recommendations clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in business analysis and data analysis roles.

Experience with data migration projects from Azure to AWS.

Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
