Python Lead
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models using Python with Sagemaker/Azure ML.
- Design, build, and maintain complex, scalable, low-latency distributed software systems using Java, C++, Python.
- Write, test, and debug robust Python code to ensure efficient and well-written execution.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of Python developers to ensure timely project delivery.
- Build, train, and deploy ML models utilizing Python, SQL, and Spark skills.
- Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests using Django test suite.
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement Python code effectively.
- Create Python scripts to connect and extract information from various data sources for business analytics.
- Develop enterprise-class Python applications with hands-on experience in Full Stack development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field from a Tier 1/2 institute, with an MBA preferred.
- Proven work experience using Python and related technologies such as Django, Flask, Pandas, etc.
- Strong expertise in scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Bash/Shell scripting.
- Experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs using MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Python programming for data processing, analysis, and visualization tasks.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language used in web development, such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with automation projects using Python web frameworks like Flask and FastAPI.
- Experience in managing small teams of developers and providing mentorship.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle phases and coaching abilities for junior developers.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for application deployment and configuration.
Skills:
- Strong programming skills using Python, Java, and other scripting languages like Perl or Ruby.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and statistical analysis using tools like R and Python.
- Solid background in natural language processing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence using Python, Java, or R.
- Experience with web application development frameworks such as Django, Rails, or Play.
- Familiarity with data ingestion tools and technologies for extracting data from databases and external APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup culture.
- Knowledge of CI/CD automation using scripting languages like Powershell, Bash, or Python.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
