How will you make an impact in this role?

This is a great opportunity to join the Enterprise Business Intelligence Engineering, part of Unified Data Intelligence Tech (UDIT) within American Express Technologies. You will be part of a fast-paced, Cobrand product reporting team. The Cobrand reporting leverages American Express Enterprise Data Assets & capabilities to provide easy-to-access business intelligence reports to the Relationship Managers (Internal and External) of American Express Co-Brand relationships

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 4-6 years of DATA engineering experience with proven hands-on experience in Big Data technologies and Business Intelligence
- Understanding of Agile or other rapid application development methods. Exposure to design and coding across one or more platforms and languages as appropriate
- Exposure to application design, software development, and automated testing methodologies
- Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, and relational databases
Technical Skill :
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP):
  - BigQuery
  - Cloud Composer (Airflow/DAG orchestration)
  - Dataproc
- Experience handling large-scale Big Data processing and distributed data transformation frameworks
- Advanced SQL expertise, including stored procedures
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres
- Good understanding of CI/CD practices using Git, Jenkins, and code integration/review processes
- Ability to work with complex data lakes and modern data architectures
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
