Job Description

Configure, monitor, and maintain EMC NetWorker and Avamar backup solutions.
Perform regular backup jobs, restore operations, and ensure data recoverability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backup failures and performance bottlenecks.
Manage backup policies, schedules, and retention settings based on business requirements.
Monitor and report on backup success rates and SLAs.
Ensure compliance with data protection policies and standards.
Collaborate with storage, network, and server teams for holistic backup strategies.
Support disaster recovery planning and testing.
Perform software upgrades and patching for NetWorker and Avamar systems.
Maintain documentation for backup procedures and configurations.
