This role is pivotal in ensuring that business users, analysts  and leadership teams can leverage Tableau for reliable, secure and high-performance insights. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Tableau Server/Cloud administration, a strong grasp of BI governance and expertise in performance optimization for handling thousands of users across various BUs within the organization internally and externally powering analytics at enterprise scale that access governed data in real time and non realtime. Key Responsibilities Administration & Operations <ul> <li>Install, configure, upgrade  and maintain Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud environments.</li> <li>Manage users, groups, roles, licensing  and permissions to ensure smooth adoption and security.</li> <li>Administer data extracts, data connections  and scheduled tasks.</li> <li>Ensure high availability, backups  and disaster recovery for Tableau environments.</li> <li>Proactively monitor server health, logs  and resolve system issues.</li> </ul> Governance & Security <ul> <li>Define and enforce governance standards across workbooks, dashboards  and data sources.</li> <li>Implement and maintain role-based access controls and row-level security models.</li> <li>Collaborate with IT and Security teams to align Tableau practices with organizational data privacy and compliance policies.</li> <li>Document policies, guidelines  and governance frameworks for Tableau usage.</li> </ul> Performance Optimization <ul> <li>Tune server performance for extracts, live connections  and queries.</li> <li>Monitor system utilization, conduct capacity planning  and recommend scaling strategies.</li> <li>Work with BI developers to improve dashboard performance and optimize queries.</li> <li>Implement monitoring dashboards to track usage, performance  and adoption metrics.</li> </ul> Support & Enablement <ul> <li>Provide L2/L3 support for Tableau incidents and issues.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve dashboard/data source errors in partnership with Analytics and Data Engineering teams.</li> <li>Conduct training sessions, workshops  and “Tableau Office Hours” for end-users.</li> <li>Create and maintain documentation, SOPs  and knowledge base for user self-service.</li> </ul> Qualifications Education: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).</li> </ul> Experience: <ul> <li>3–6 years of Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud administration experience.</li> <li>Strong expertise in user management, permissions  and content governance.</li> <li>Proficiency in SQL with good understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, Trino, or similar).</li> <li>Hands-on experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and monitoring.</li> <li>Exposure to cloud environments (AWS(preferred), Azure, GCP) for hosting and scaling Tableau.</li> </ul> Desired Skills <ul> <li>Tableau Certified Associate or Server Administrator certification preferred.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, CloudZero,Grafana, Dynatrace).</li> <li>Ability to manage priorities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> </ul> What We Offer <ul> <li>Opportunity to work with cutting-edge BI & cloud platforms operating at a massive scale of 100s of TBs.</li> <li>Collaborative, data-driven work environment with cross-functional exposure.</li> <li>Support for Tableau certifications and continuous learning opportunities.</li> <li style="text-align: left;">Competitive compensation, benefits  and career growth.</li> </ul>  <div class="content-conclusion"><div class="gmail_default">Razorpay believes in and follows an equal employment opportunity policy that doesn't discriminate on gender, religion, sexual orientation, colour, nationality, age, etc. We welcome interests and applications from all groups and communities across the globe. </div> <div class="gmail_default"> </div> <div class="gmail_default">Follow us on <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/razorpay/mycompany/" target="_blank" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.linkedin.com/company/razorpay/mycompany/&source=gmail&ust=1660290870959000&usg=AOvVaw0f6sCrv8Ce3IHBvN2Sev8Z">LinkedIn</a> & <a href="https://twitter.com/Razorpay" target="_blank" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://twitter.com/Razorpay&source=gmail&ust=1660290870959000&usg=AOvVaw0ViuP9uutFg1qFCm2nHeh1">Twitter</a></div></div>
