Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced DOT Microservices Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-12 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable microservices-based applications using .NET technologies. The developer will work collaboratively within an agile environment to build robust, high-performance solutions, ensuring that they meet both technical and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development:
Lead and actively contribute to the design, development, and deployment of microservices based applications using .NET Core/5/6.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and architects, to define technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews, ensuring high standards for code quality, security, and performance.
Actively mentor junior developers and share expertise on best practices.
Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:
Optimize microservices for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Diagnose and resolve issues with system performance, integration, and deployment.
Implement robust logging and monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance.
Agile Methodology:
Work within Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to deliver incremental product enhancements and new features.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for the smooth deployment of microservices to development, staging, and production environments.
Leverage tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or other similar platforms for automating build and deployment processes.
Security & Best Practices:
Ensure secure coding practices are followed and systems comply with industry security standards.
Stay current with evolving technology trends and integrate them into development processes as appropriate.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 5 to 12 years of experience in software development, with a focus on building microservices-based applications.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in .NET Core/5/6 for developing and deploying scalable microservices.
Proficient in C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and related .NET technologies.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra).
Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other web service architectures.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture, including inter-service communication, event-driven systems, and distributed transaction patterns.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
Strong commitment to code quality and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and CQRS.
Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Experience in implementing DevOps practices and tools.
