Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Regulatory Trade Reporting with strong experience in Broadridge Regulatory Reporting (BRR) solutions. The role involves working closely with business users, compliance teams, and technology partners to ensure seamless delivery and maintenance of trade reporting solutions across multiple jurisdictions.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience specifically with Broadridge Regulatory Reporting (BRR) platform.

Proven expertise in Capital Markets trade lifecycle — especially OTC Derivatives, Fixed Income, and Equities.

Deep understanding of trade reporting obligations under global regulatory regimes (EMIR, CFTC, ASIC, MAS, HKMA, MiFID II, SFTR).

Strong analytical skills for interpreting regulatory technical standards (RTS/ITS) and mapping them to operational processes.

Ability to coordinate between business, compliance, and IT teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting.

Experience in SQL / data analysis for validation and reconciliation is highly desirable.

Exposure to Broadridge connectivity with TRs (DTCC, UnaVista, RegisTR, HKTR) preferred.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Good to Have

Experience working with other reporting engines or vendor solutions (AxiomSL, IHS Markit, or Cappitech).

Familiarity with data integration tools, XML/FPML formats, and reporting reconciliations.

Prior experience in change management or regulatory uplift programs for Tier-1 banks.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a functional SME for Broadridge’s regulatory trade reporting platform, covering trade lifecycle, data flows, and reporting obligations.

Analyze and interpret regulatory reporting requirements for regimes such as EMIR, MiFID II, MAS, ASIC, HKMA, CFTC, SFTR, etc.

Manage end-to-end trade reporting processes — from source system data ingestion through enrichment, validation, submission, and reconciliation.

Liaise with business stakeholders and compliance to identify and document reporting gaps or changes due to regulatory updates.

Work with technology teams on data mapping, testing, and production validation for new jurisdictions or product rollouts.

Conduct impact assessments for new regulatory releases and drive implementation strategies.

Support UAT and production verification cycles and provide post-implementation support.

Act as a point of escalation for complex issue resolution and provide detailed root cause analysis.
