Job Description

Lead a team of engineers focused on building and enhancing Google SQL Ecosystem, tooling, and overseeing its adoption in software solutions like database and data solutions.
Enhance the data engineering experience impacting how data is analyzed and processed at scale.
Apply AI/ML advancements to innovate within the data language ecosystem and the SQL domain.
Work with core Google systems like BigQuery and Spanner.
Innovate, evolve, and lead the development of solutions.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with people management, software engineering, database languages, and data processing.
Experience with C++, SQL, databases, Google Infrastructure, and Large Language Models.
Knowledge of data management and processing technologies, including SQL, query engines, and infrastructure.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
