Job Description

Drive new capabilities in the foundational Compute Infrastructure layer (e.g., Hypervisor and Virtualization Stack, Guest OS, Devices) and deliver innovation for Google Cloud.
Understand the dynamics and industry trends on where the innovation is happening for both workloads and hardware.
Drive the roadmap for guest OS support, network, storage, hypervisor, and offloads.
Provide data-driven insights to prioritize engineering initiatives and maximize return on investment.
Collaborate with peers across all layers of the cloud stack.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.

Preferred qualifications:

5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
Experience in one or more of the following: compute architecture, data center infrastructure, CPU and I/O technologies, Virtualization and OS systems.
Knowledge of different workload requirements and their demands on the underlying infrastructure.
Ability to communicate and influence decisions cross-functionally and at all levels of an organization.
