Coordinate with Department of Environment on district/ city level initiatives on climate risk mitigation and adaptation.
Integrate ESSA recommendations and ESF requirements in program interventions including for district strategic plans
Report against Program Action Plans (PAP) and ESCP on a quarterly basis
Develop indicators to track, report and monitor performance on Environment and Social safeguards
Support teams in integrating E&S screening and assessment
Provide support an input to capacity development activities to cover E&S aspects
Enhance E&S outputs and outcomes, document good practices for upscaling
Facilitate stakeholder consultations, citizen engagement, beneficiary feedback and support strengthening of grievance redressal mechanisms
