Senior Backend Developer- AEM, Java, OSGi, Sling
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom AEM components, templates, and workflows using Java, OSGi, and Sling.
- Implement and maintain backend services and integrations with third-party systems.
- Optimize AEM instances for performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration of backend logic with UI components.
- Manage AEM content repository (JCR) and implement custom Sling models.
- Configure and maintain OSGi bundles and services for modular application development.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in AEM environments.
- Ensure compliance with best practices, coding standards, and accessibility guidelines.
🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in Java (JDK 8+) and object-oriented programming.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x or higher).
- Deep understanding of OSGi framework and modular application development.
- Expertise in Sling models, servlets, and resource resolution.
- Familiarity with JCR (Java Content Repository) and AEM content structures.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
