Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented System Administrator to join our CloudOps team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of our servers, systems, and networks. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure.

Experiences, Knowledge & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science and 8+ years experience
3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or comparable experience with other leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong Technical background with an ability to troubleshoot issues impacting large scale service architectures and application stacks.
Experience with Linux and setting up/maintaining web servers.
Experience in Containerization using Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience with REST APIs and the concepts of RESTful architecture.
Ability to troubleshoot issues impacting large scale service architectures and application stacks.
Excellence in verbal and written communication.
Good interpersonal skills with ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with strong customer service orientation.
Demonstrable experience in scripting/programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, etc.
Configuration and maintenance of applications such as Middleware (Apache Webserver, Apache Tomcat, WebLogic), Configuration Management (Puppet, MCollective, SALT), and CI/CD tools (Git, SVN, API & CLI, Jenkins).
Hardware and Software Load Balancing, basic knowledge of firewall and networking architecture.
Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence.
