Engineering PM
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead planning and execution of large-scale on-prem to AWS migration projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Work closely with technical leads, architects, DevOps, security, and business stakeholders to define and deliver project goals and migration milestones.
Create and manage detailed project plans, migration waves, timelines, and backlogs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Monitor project scope, risks, budgets, and dependencies across multiple Agile teams.
Track team velocity, burn-down charts, and KPIs to ensure on-time delivery.
Drive collaboration and foster continuous improvement within teams through Agile best practices.
Ensure compliance with cloud governance and AWS best practices throughout the migration lifecycle.
Report project status and blockers to leadership, and ensure transparent communication across all stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of experience in technical project/program management or engineering leadership roles.
Must have led Fixed Priced Projects
Strong experience managing Agile/Scrum teams, preferably in enterprise or cloud-native environments.
Proven track record leading AWS cloud migration projects, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or re-architecture efforts.
Skilled in using project management and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Rally, Azure DevOps).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional).
Scrum Master or Agile certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP).
