How will you make an impact in this role?

This role will be primarily responsible about the management of regulatory submissions for AEBC India.

Effectively manage and maintain up-to-date project trackers with data coming from disparate input channels, ensuring accuracy and completeness of project status, milestones, and deliverables.
Develop and implement structured processes for period-over-period tracking, governance and reporting.
Responsible for submissions through reminders of upcoming due dates, flag trends and prepare updates on submission status/performance to senior leadership.
Partner/Liaise with Compliance, Legal, Tech, Business and any other relevant Stakeholders in driving timely closures through tracking of pending tasks against responsible individuals.
Facilitate regular project review meetings to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all regulatory change projects, including approvals, decisions, and implementation evidence.
Ensure robust audit trails to support internal and external audits, as well as regulatory inspections.
Identify process gaps and recommend enhancements to strengthen project governance and regulatory compliance through usage of new technology, software.
Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory developments, analyze the regulatory changes and assist teams to implement those changes.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a highly organized, self-starter and a strong communicator with a proven track record of influencing across a matrix organization.
Previous experience in project management with fast paced and multi BU programs and/or projects where frequent high level status updates are crucial.
Good communication & collaboration skills; ability to establish relationships, influence decisions, and to encourage matrixed, cross-functional teams to deliver on shared objectives
Confidence in decision-making in sophisticated & ambiguous situations; comfortable troubleshooting + aligning conflicting interests in a professional outcome-focused manner
Proven ability to demonstrate driving success in an agile environment
Experience of working with senior level partners, and of being able to lead and influence without direct authority.

Academic Qualifications:

PMP certified preferably
Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Finance, Law, Compliance, or related field.
2+ years’ experience in regulatory change management, project governance, or compliance within a regulated financial institution.
Strong understanding of Indian banking regulations and regulatory landscape preferred.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive outcomes in a matrixed environment.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in maintaining documentation and audit trails for regulatory or compliance projects.
PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Functional Skills/Capabilities:

Proficient with MS Excel, Macros, VBA coding and Power Point skills
Sound knowledge of Project planning tools
