Job Description

Your focus will be the area of SAP Basis architecture topics in the following areasSAP Lifecycle Management coordinationSAP system refreshes coordinationSAP Disaster and recovery coordinationEnterprise architecture supportManagement presentations in above areasYou will be member of the ERP Technology Office (ETO) team. ETO is responsible for assessing, prioritizing, planning, and tracking the execution of system upgrade activities including application, operating systems and databases, SAP system refreshes of both SAP and non-SAP applications. You will coordinate the creation and maintenance of system landscape overviews, interface diagrams and be responsible for providing system upgrade heatmaps. You will co-ordinate SAP and non SAP systems disaster and recovery activities. You will support application owners in prioritization and planning of application, OS and DB upgrade activities. This includes the determination of best-fit remediation scenarios in close collaboration with Service Delivery Managers and application owners. You will create decision slides and present the current situation and remediation plan to management. Strong presentation skills are essential.You will be responsible for tracking the execution of all tech refresh activities. Periodic status meetings with stakeholders will be part of your activities. This includes escalation management in case of deviations from agreed remediation plan timeline. Work environment:Working in an international, virtual team in close collaboration being able to function as a cross functional backup for other members of the ETO team. Working very closely with service owners and other cross functional teams Bachelor’s or master’s degree and minimum 5 years comparable job experience.Experience in SAP upgrade project planning and executionKnowledge in SAP roadmapKnowledge in operating system and database version upgrades Good knowledge of service support processes and SLASkills:Excellent Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel skillsExtended Knowledge or experience in IT infrastructure Strong SAP technical backgroundSAP Basis administrator or Infrastructure administrator experienceExcellent, fluent communication in English speaking and writing.Strong analytical and conceptional skillsOrganizational and presentation talent as well as intercultural competenceCommunicative and Team PlayerSelf-driven and flexible Tools:SAP ERPMicrosoft OfficeService NOW
