Job Description

Collaborate with product managers, engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver creative solutions.
Communicate the user experience throughout various stages of the design process using wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups and high-fidelity prototypes.
Integrate user feedback and business requirements to drive ongoing product experience updates.
Contribute to feature development across multiple areas of Android Studio tooling by enhancing, debugging and profiling tools and introducing new capabilities.
Develop elegant design solutions by navigating platform constraints, workflows and input modalities through iterative prototyping.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional organization.
1 year of experience in leading design projects.
Experience designing intuitive developer workflows and building tools developers value.
Understanding of unique interaction design considerations with the ability to design new interaction conventions.
