Profile Description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as a  Vice President, Lead QA/Software Engineer Developer for Testing, responsible for managing the QA function and driving test automation initiatives for multiple projects / programs within the department.

Enterprise_Technology

Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for Morgan Stanley supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of Morgan Stanley’s software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications. ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of employees. Application and end user functions are delivered on a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter, network, compute, cloud, storage, and database functions.

Human Resources, Digital Marketing & Corporate Communication Technology

Supports clients in attracting, developing and engaging employees through Technology innovation. Implements Technology to help reinforce the Firm’s brand through driving new business and fostering business collaboration. Leverages Technology to help connect employees to the Firm and our culture, as well as to highlight the Firm’s people and accomplishments.

QA Engineering

This is a Vice President position that devises test strategies, conducts and/or coordinates tests, and identifies defects to maintain high standards of performance and reliability.

What you’ll do in the role:

This QA Lead Role with the Morgan Stanley Digital Marketing technology team is responsible for developing and supporting the firm's primary publicweb site as well as the firm's intranet portal. We are seeking an experienced Lead QA/Software Engineer Developer for Testing, responsible for managing the QA function and driving test automation initiatives for multiple projects / programs within the department.


Key responsibilities for this role include –
*Lead and manage QA teams within the department to deliver successful projects and releases, following and establishing best practice QA processes and tooling.
 *Own entire Software Testing Lifecycle including functional, regression, and performance testing.
 *Build and execute a QA Strategy focused on early test automation adoption, and use of tooling and practices to ensure the product quality and agility in releases.
 *Collaborate and be an integral part of the development team to influence Quality control through our projects and sprints. Oversee our SDLC for engagement between Product Owners, developers, and testers.
 *Manage our Test Automation frameworks, tooling, and best practices to drive QA processes that are agile and fully integrated as part of the overall development cycle.
 *Create and enforce a robust governance process for the QA teams, business sponsors, developers and production management teams to follow to ensure high quality code is delivered in a timely manner.
 *Establish measurable KPIs and transparent QA processes to demonstrate efficiency and test coverage.
 *Manage our test environments (QA and UAT) on behalf of your testing needs.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Required Skills:
*At least 10+ years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role with Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
*Expertise as a QA lead.
 *Understanding of web technologies, CMS (content management systems) and user analytics. We use Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Launch, and other Adobe related products.
 *An understanding of Accessibility requirements for a public website and automated and manual accessibility tools and testing.
* Hands on experience with test automation framework design and development, preferably BDD based automation frameworks.
 *Hands on experience using Selenium for UI automation development.
* Experience with tools and frameworks for backend / API automation, ability to leverage industry leading tools and technology to setup and efficient test automation stack.
* Experience with Performance Testing tooling/practices.
* Exposure to DevOps practices such as pipelines and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery.
