Profile Description

We’re seeking someone as (Director) Microsoft Office365 & Copilot Support Engineer to join the Office 365 squads to support the program and team in delivering Copilot in the coming months.

Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for Morgan Stanley supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of Morgan Stanley’s software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications. ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of employees. Application and end user functions are delivered on a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter, network, compute, cloud, storage, and database functions.

This is Director position that manages and optimizes the technical environment and end-user experience across various workplace technologies for end-users, ensuring seamless operations and user satisfaction across the organization.

What you’ll do in the role:

Responsible for delivering enterprise-class end-user productivity solutions, including the design, configuration, and integration of these technologies into the firm.
Keeping up with evolving M365 and Copilot capabilities and translating them into support strategies.
M365 Foundation service and configuration, including licensing, Integrating functionalities of M365 Copilot with other M365 services such as SharePoint Online and Teams.
Keeping up with evolving M365 and Copilot capabilities and translating them into support strategies.

What you’ll bring to the role:

At least 6+ years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
Microsoft 365 Expertise: Deep understanding of M365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Office ProPlus.
Gen AI Fundamentals and Copilot Integration: Foundational knowledge in Gen AI and experience in configuring and supporting Copilot features across Microsoft 365 applications, including troubleshooting, licensing, deployment, and user enablement.
Familiarity with Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), including sensitivity labels, encryption, and data classification.
Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and diagnostics within the M365 environment.
Track record of design and delivering a Office365 & Copilot project
Prior experience of working in financial services or consulting firm preferred
Experience in M365 and Copilot deployments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Technical Skills Gen AI and M365 Copilot integration.
Office365 experience - O365 Foundation, Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive
Security tool Purview DLP and Information Protection
High degree of technical knowledge of relevant architectures
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across M365 workloads and Copilot features
Skilled in identifying underlying issues and implementing long-term fixes, working with Vendor support team.
Understanding of enterprise data governance and privacy implications when using AI tools
Business Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to guide users through Copilot features and gather feedback
Experience working in globally distributed teams and liaising with engineering and vendor support team.
Ability and desire to learn new technologies quickly and operate in a face paced environment.
Ability to multi-task at a high level. Stakeholder management.
Ability to create and maintain knowledge base articles and user guides.
Personal profile Strong sense of ownership and Ability to deal with pressure & ambiguity.
Ability to take initiative and work independently and Strong problem solving
