What you’ll do in the role:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support daily market risk control processes covering positions, exposures and Market data
• Process reviews for effectiveness and efficiency, while ensuring adequate maintenance of relevant procedures.
• Observe data issue patterns, collaborate with data providers for timely resolution
• Ensure accurate & timely production of market risk metrics daily
• Partner with Global teams, drive and/or support strategic Market Risk initiatives
• Establish and monitor an effective control oversight framework to ensure that issues are appropriately identified, escalated, and resolved
• Work on regulatory and internal audit findings to remediate gaps in reporting/data issues

What you’ll bring to the role:

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree, Engineering or Finance is a plus
• 12+ years of experience in Finance service industry
• Proven experience managing medium size teams.
• Good Understanding of risk management concepts and financial products across asset classes.
• Control mindset with attention to details.
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
• Proficiency with technology, particularly Database queries, Python.
